Description

The GOOD news:

Your iPhone (or iPod Touch) full supports having your contacts sorted into groups right in its own contacts application.

The BAD news:

The iPhone comes with no interface for this function, so until now you haven't been able to group your contacts right from your iPhone.

Enter "Contact Grouper". An application with an easy to use interface that allows you to sort your contacts into groups. After you have added one or more groups you'll see a "Groups" button right in your phone's contact application.

Contacts can be part of more than one group, so you are in full control of how you would like to organize your contacts. For example, you might put a co-worker in both "Friends" and "Work". You can add as many or as few groups as you would like!

Keep your contact list simple and organized with Contact Grouper!

Can't mail the group

:
I don't understand the purpose of this app? I can't email the group with one click! So they are grouped. Now what if I can't do anything with it.

FINALLY!

:
Finally an app that allows you to use Groups for your Contacts given to us by Apple but corrects the shortsightdness of the Apple Devs who did not give us group capability. Works in both the Phone Contacts and the normal Contacts App. No longer do you have to pay for MobileMe just to get Groups and is great for us PC users who have Contacts in Outlook but does not transfer to our iPhone. Once you build your groups, you can just move this icon to a last page as you will not need it except to update groups but you must keep it on the iPhone. Very well done Mike...something Apple should have done all along...maybe they should hire you! Well worth the .99!

Good buy!

:
Coming from a treo, this was my first buy. It works great & just as advertised. Well worth the $.99.

Just a couple requests:
1. Add image of modified contacts screen to apstore writeup so buyers know what to expect.
2. Add reorder & sort of group names.
